600x600 mm Porcelain and Ceramic Bodies
The body decides where a tile can go and how much of it fits on a truck. We supply 60x60 in three bodies; every model states which one it is.
60x60 Porcelain Tiles (BIa)
Porcelain is pressed denser and fired harder, so its water absorption is 0.5% or less (group BIa under ISO 13006). Our 600x600 porcelain is 9.5 mm thick, glossy or matt. Choose it for busy floors, commercial projects and wet areas.

White body is the usual choice for 600x600 floors in homes and offices, with water absorption of 3–6% (BIIa). Standard models are 10 mm; the Khatam white body line is 13 mm thick, about 25 kg per m², for buyers who want a heavier, stiffer tile.

Red body is the economy choice for residential floors and walls. Water absorption is 6–10% (BIIb) and thickness 10 mm. It is the lightest per square metre, so it loads the most: about 1,300 m² per truck.

60x60 Tile Packing and Container Loading
Tiles travel in cartons on strapped, shrink-wrapped pallets. For tile, weight decides how much fits, not space: a 20 ft container or one truck carries about 25 tonnes, so lighter bodies load more square metres.

A load is one 20 ft container or one truck at about 25 t. A 40 ft container carries little more tile, because its weight limit is almost the same. Exact figures for your models and route are on the packing list of every quotation.
