15 mm Thick 40x40 Floor Tiles
Every current model is 15 mm thick and weighs about 29 kg per m². A thicker tile is stiffer, so it takes heavy foot traffic, furniture and loads better than a thin one.

40x40 Tile Packing and Truck Loading
Tiles travel in cartons on strapped, shrink-wrapped pallets. For tile, weight decides how much fits, not space; a 15 mm tile is heavy, so a load carries fewer square metres than a thinner floor tile.
